Verum Foods · India

Real food.
Verified quality.

We check ingredients, sourcing, processing and quality before a product earns a place on Verum.

Trust is the product. The catalogue is what follows: food that has been checked before it reaches your cart.

Kerala pantry still life: dried turmeric, dry ginger, matta rice, coconut oil, rice flour and bay leaves
  • Carefully curated
  • Ingredient checked
  • Quality verified
  • Transparent products
  • Freshness focused

Why Verum

You shouldn’t need a chemistry degree to buy groceries.

Food labels can be confusing. Marketing claims don’t always tell the whole story. Verum exists so you don’t have to decode every packet in the aisle.

We are not building the largest catalogue. We are building a trusted filter between the food industry and the consumer.

Ingredients

We look beyond the front of the package, at what is listed, what is missing, and what should never have been added.

Processing

We consider how the product is made. Stone-milled, cold-pressed, cultured, roasted, method is part of quality.

Transparency

We show customers what matters: origin, ingredients, scores and the reason Verum picked it.

Quality

We evaluate products against our internal standard, then publish a Verum Score so comparison is possible.

Sourcing

We care about where products come from, named farms, mills and belts, not anonymous blends.

Taste

Better quality should still taste good. A short label is not enough if the food itself is dull.

Verum’s internal product evaluation

Meet the Verum Score

Every product receives a score based on Verum’s evaluation framework, ingredients, processing, transparency, sourcing and packaging. It is not a laboratory certification or a medical claim. It is our way of making quality comparable.

Notes from the pantry

New evaluations, quietly, not a discount blast.

Occasional letters about what we added, what we declined, and how we think about food.
